On October 25, 2000, then Mexican President, Ernesto Zedillo, presented Offshore Group president, Luis Felipe Seldner, Mexico's prestigious National Export Award.
The National Export Award has been given annually by Mexico's Economics Ministry since 1993, and recognizes small, medium and large businesses in the agricultural, manufacturing and service sectors that have made outstanding contributions to increasing the quantity, quality and diversity of the goods and services that Mexico provides to global markets.
The award is also a recognition of excellence in corporate citizenship.
Other recent winners of the National Export Award in the manufacturing category have included IBM de Mexico, Delphi Automotive, and Visteon Automotive Technology Systems.
