Carlos Espriu is the general manager at Maquilas Teta Kawi S.A. de C.V. He began his career with The Offshore Group in 1989 as information systems manager. In that position, Mr. Espriu developed Offshore's first computer system devoted to client support services.

Before joining The Group, Mr. Espriu was computer center director at the Monterey Institute of Technology & Higher Education (ITESM) North Sonora campus. He also directed the Monterey school's academic program in information systems. Other positions Mr. Espriu has held include cement systems administrator at Cementos Mexicanos (CEMEX), and management systems consultant in the tourism and construction industries.

At ITEMS, Mr. Espriu earned degrees in international commerce and manufacturing, and a Master's Degree in information systems. His community activities include memberships on the outreach councils of the Guaymas Institute of Technology, and CONALEP Empalme, a Guaymas technical school, as well as Vice President of the Mexican Red Cross Assistance Committee in Empalme, Sonora.
