The punctual and accurate delivery of worker payroll is an item of critical importance in ensuring the success of The Offshore Group's clients' Mexican operations. In addition, to accuracy and timeliness, individuals knowledgeable in Mexican labor law and requirements must take great care to determine the correct amounts required for the purpose of crediting legally prescribed overtime payments, as well as to make government mandated contributions to a number of worker benefit programs.
The Payroll Department consists of a full-time, dedicated staff that provides the following services on behalf of The Offshore Group's clientele:
• Electronic time and attendance (Guaymas & Empalme, Sonora)
• Preparation of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
• Calculation and payment of worker overtime
• Preparation of “Special Request” checks
• Deduction, payment, control and reporting of worker benefits:
o Mexican Social Security (IMSS)
o National Housing Fund (Infonavit)
o National Workers Credit Fund (Fonacot)
o Retirement Savings Fund (SAR)
• Record keeping and information archiving
