The Offshore Group held its 14th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit  from October 16-19, 2008 at the Camino Real Hotel in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico.

Attendance at the event was attended by approximately 200 individuals.  Executives from the aerospace, automotive, medical device, electronics, HVAC, appliance and general manufacturing industries gained information from a slate of Maquiladora industry experts, as well as from executives and management of companies with manufacturing plants currently operating in Mexico.

This event was a special one in that it was only the second Manufacturing Summit to be held at The Offshore Group's Manufacturers Zapalinamé location. For 12 years prior to the 2007 event,  the Summit had been held at the Group's, Sonora installations. In recent years the Saltilllo La Angostura Industrial Park has completed 40 acres of phase one development. A second phase of 60 acres is now under construction. 

The 2009 Manufacturing in Mexico Summit is scheduled to be held in October in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
